Browser History Sniffing – Without Javascript
Written by The Geekette on June 14, 2009 – 4:56 amPosted in Internet, Web Browsers | No Comments »
I have not posted in a while, so I thought I would post a good link with some information many people do not reaize.
Those who turn off Javascript – some may do it so websites will not look at the history, sniff, or take cookies from the browser. But, there is another way to do it without Javascript. so even if you have it turned off, websites can still sniff your history.
Wanna try? It may take a minute or two, but the box on the left can show you where you have been and the article explains how it is done. So for those who turn off Javascript in browsers for this reason… are you really that safe? Try it and find out.

Browser Screenshots

With the release of the new IE 7.0 Beta2, I noticed a few differences in the way it made this website display. Before, I had noticed a few slight changes that were seen in Mozilla, Firefox and the like, so I have decided to post a screenshot of each browser so the differences can be seen. IE 7.0 beta2 seems to be the only one which runs the text over to the right because of the way it displays CSS.
