I came across your blog post since I called OAN yesterday on behalf of my elderly grandparents. I told the person from OAN that my grandmother is in the beginning stages of Alzheimers and she does what she can just to get a simple email off of her web t.v. and if she could remember 10 15 15 800 then she is fooling us all. I was horrified but after reading this I can actually see that she would follow the instructions if she received a call that same way. Of course she would hit pound. It's pretty sick -- I don't even know how this can be a legitimate company. OAN is reversing the $7.50 fee but it scares me to think they can do this so easily! Thanks for your post... I'd love to link to it for others to see on our town forum. This hit a bit too close to home for me!!!

I had never seen this Facebook application until you mentioned it, so I decided to check it out. Seems like a pretty fun application to play with. Thanks for the useful tips and I will keep those in mind as I continue to advance levels with my pet.

Hi,
The Winner is really Firefox, it has a tabbed interface: pop-up blocker/built-in: multiple search tools: and built-in RSS reader, handles nice and is always stable. The spellcheck for text boxes uses the familiar dotted colored lines under words . although the others has this feature. If you need an Extension for something? the Firefox Extension capability is powerful, elegant and easy to use, It's also offers many theme. I have been using Firefox for one yrs and have had the least problems overhaul compared to the other's and I still find it amazing that a simple open source browser is free.

Digg has definitely been the 'go to' site for the last couple of years, but it's time for a change. (Great tip - many thanks)

I am not going to make unsupported accusations against large corporations. I am simply going to tell you to be very, very careful of the number that you dial, or write down. In the last week or so I needed to make contact with my web hosting provider via a particular number. What I didn't know at the time was that the number that I had written down had the last two digits transposed from the correct number, and the number I was dialing (incorrectly dialing; oops) was connecting me to—yep, you guessed it—10-15-15-8000. I, of course, did not follow the instructions in the automated message, and used my provider's Canadian phone number (at my own cost, of course) to get to the support personnel that I needed to talk to. It was while talking to them that I discovered that I had written the number down wrong. This should not strike anyone as new or shocking, because it is simply a telephone variation on a scheme long used by scammers on the Internet.
