Hi,
The Winner is really Firefox, it has a tabbed interface: pop-up blocker/built-in: multiple search tools: and built-in RSS reader, handles nice and is always stable. The spellcheck for text boxes uses the familiar dotted colored lines under words . although the others has this feature. If you need an Extension for something? the Firefox Extension capability is powerful, elegant and easy to use, It's also offers many theme. I have been using Firefox for one yrs and have had the least problems overhaul compared to the other's and I still find it amazing that a simple open source browser is free.

I started using Firefox about 2 years ago when for some odd reason my ISP's (SBC/Yahoo) proprietary IE-based browser got fubared and am SO very glad I did. The difference is remarkable and I will NEVER go back to IE. My only regret is that some streaming video services such as Netflix's "watch now" are only available for IE browsers which I think is rather shortsighted on their part.

I think it's good firefox offers this. However, I don't think it should be on by default. Most people that use Firefox are in fact aware of what phishing is. Opera follows a similar policy of leaving it off by default.

About, gosh, maybe 3 years ago or so, I started using Firefox because it was company policy. I worked at a small computer store at the time. Now, I am a web designer myself as well as a technician, and I promote Firefox to everyone I meet.

Hi,

I have watched the rise of phishing over the past few years and have been amazed...both at the sheer ingenuity of the con-men involved and their success!

Over the past few years I have noticed that the rather feeble phishing attempts are now being replaced by really professional looking versions. Also, while PayPal & Ebay were the original targets we are seeing the rise of small banks and insurance companies in the rise.

Phishing works, we need to educate people to be more protective of their personal data....simple browser plugins will not sort the problem.
