<p>To change the text (or to get rid of it altogether), navigate to</p>
<p><code><span style="color: #993300;">HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main</span></code></p>
<p>Double-click the Window Title icon in the right pane. (If you don’t see this icon, right-click in the pane, choose<span style="color: #993300;"> New/String Value</span>, type <span style="color: #993300;">Window Title</span>, and press <span style="color: #993300;">Enter</span>.)</p>
<p>When the box pops up, type what you want to see on IE’s title bar, or type nothing to show only the site name.</p>
<p>Another way to reset it back to default is using the following registry file.</p>

Type in CMD and hit ENTER<br />

<p>Click on the Start Button and type in command prompt so that it shows up on your start menu search list.<br />
Right click on the Command Prompt shortcut and select Run As Administrator.<br />

<li>When you have navigated to the above mentioned key, on the right, lookout for<span style="color: #993300;"> ODBETimer</span>. Right click on<span style="color: #993300;"> ODBETimer</span> and select <span style="color: #993300;">Modify</span>.</li>
<li> Here for the value, just change a minimum of one character by deleting or modifying the value. <span style="color: #993300;">The change in value renders the existing product key invalid and also deactivates Windows.</span></li>
<li>Next, <span style="color: #993300;">Click on Start –&gt; Run</span> and enter the below mentioned command. Replace <span style="color: #993300;">&lt;windows_directory&gt;</span> with the Windows installation directory for your system. Usually for default installations this is <span style="color: #993300;">C:\Windows</span>
