The strangest thing hapened the other day with Dreamweaver 8. When I loaded it up, I started getting a lot of errors. Then, all the sudden when I started copying and pasting, I got this error:

" While executing DW_Menu_Edit_paste Command in menus.xml, the following Javascript errors occurred: Type Error : MM.event has no properties. "

To solve the problem, I found this solution:

Find this file and delete it:

C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Application Data\Macromedia\Dreamweaver
8\Configuration\WinFileCache-*.dat
In case these folders it is in are are normally hidden - you may have to use Explorer > Tools > Folder Options to unhide them.

Now, no more errors.

Search Sight is another Search Directory I have been using for a few years. Similar to Google , Search Sight has a ranking system. For Search Sight, a Q value is given to each website. Ranking from 0-10, the Q value plays a role in helping to determine the position of the website on Search Sight’s website. Normally, the highest value given to a website is a 7.0. If the website has a link to Search Sight, it is given an extra .5. If a website is upgraded to a premiere listing, it is automatically given a minimum 9.0 listing.

When the original aleeya.net was up, it contained a Q value of 2.5. When the website was changed over to the new theme, it was given a 4.0. With a few tweaks, the Q value rose to 5.0 and then 6.0. With a few more tweaks, at it’s current state, it is now a 7.5. I am extremely proud of this!

At this time, GirlGeekette dotNet is (and has been) a 6.0. As I work on different tweaks and improvements, I will continue to monitor how it is doing.
