Windows XP - Add Your Own Information to the General Tab of the System Control Panel Applet.
You can modify the system control panel applet to display your own image and information. The following article explains how to do so.
- To display your own image, create a bitmap with the dimensions of 180 x 114. Save the picture in the %systemroot%system32 folder with a name of OEMLOGO.BMP.
- To modify the text displayed, create the file %systemroot%system32OEMINFO.INI. Add the following lines in the exact format changing the information text.

Manufacturer=Jaredshelp.com
Model=ModelName
[Support Information]
Line1="whatever"
Line2="whatever"
Line3="whatever"
You do not need to reboot or log off. The control panel with read in the files when launched.
